| Description |
Border Island is one of the top three snorkelling spots in the Whitsunday Island group. As the reef is protected from anchoring and there is no fishing allowed it abounds with sea life and coral of all varieties.
For the more energetic a climb to the saddle between the peaks of Border Island offers excellent views. Check the tides if leaving the dinghy on the beach as the fringing coral in front of the beach can leave you stranded. |
