Description Henning Island is a panaromic location to stopover for lunch with Whitsunday, Dent and Hamilton Islands nearby. There is typically something to watch as many marine craft pass by on the way the way to Hamilton Island and Whitehaven Beach.

Be careful of There is a huge coral fringing reef that extends from the East of Henning Island to Plum Pudding Island. Extreme care should be taken.
Snorkel Snorkelling in slack tide on the North Western corner is worthwhile.
Beach There is a nice stretch of beach on the Northern edge of Henning.
