Approved Anchorage |
| Description |
Located just inside the "mouth" of Nara Inlet, this anchorage is best used in lighter conditions and when the tides are small. Other times, a reflected wave or a tidal surge may make it a slightly uncomfortable.
Other times, it makes for great place to "monitor" the passing traffic as the various commercial boats come and go. If an early start is planned the next day, it also saves the extra few miles to the Northern part of Nara.
Above 1/2 tide there is the opportunity to explore the beach at the South East corner. It is sometimes worthwhile throwing in a line, though the write has not experienced any success here
