Its true - isn't it - as you get older the time goes quicker!!
2007 was a terrific year and culminated in a very busy christmas
with stunning rain over new year.
We enjoyed our Christmas Party and have put up some pictures
for you to enjoy. The theme is year was Cumberland Boat Names
- Past and Present. See if you can guess what everyone was...
If you followed the Rolex Sydney to Hobart you may have recognised
the Cumberland Charter Yachts logo on one of the boats. Yes
folks - Dehler Magic cast off her bareboating shackles and
went racing in the BIG race. Charlie (who many may be familiar
with) was one of the daring crew and all have survived the
great race. Dehler will be making appearances at several other
racing series up the east coast and will return to work in

We laughingly refer to Cumberland as "hotel california"
as you can check out but never leave.... Rex who worked with
us for a number of years left us for a break and returned
to the fold in November. Welcome back Rex!! For those who
thought Tina and Sue would never let anyone into their empire
- you were wrong!! Rachel (Chris in operations other half)
has joined the Reservations Staff to help out three days a
week. So when you ring say hi to Rachel!!
Newsletters will be going out early february. We have new
boats to show you (that aren't on the site yet!!) as well
as new features of the website for you to enjoy - stay tuned!!
We hope everyone had a safe and happy christmas/new year and
hope to see you all again soon.
